The South Will Rise Again

Barbara was in her element as we left Jackson and went to the Shilo Civil War Battlefield. The kids were not nearly as interested in the history lesson Barbara was introducing them to as they were climbing on the cannons and seeing the 'bloody' pond.
It was a great trip though and we hope to do more short little trips like this in the future.
